Here we learned about grid drawing and various painting techniques.  Done in acrylic.

In this project below, we took a normal photo, sketched it out and then divided it into fourths.  We then used our color theory knowledge and painted one side with monochromatic colors, one with analogous colors, one with complementary colors and the fourth side with primary colors.  The style as a whole was to mimick pop art:
