2-in-1 project.  The instructions for this project were to create two images in one subject.  Nicole decided to do the silhouette of a female with flowers inside which, to me, provokes many different feelings or ideas as to what this painting may mean.

This was a sketch study of a gorilla which was then given as a gift to Nicole's grandma:

Here we learned about grid drawing and various painting techniques.  Done in acrylic.

In this project below, we took the gradual shades on the girl's face and blocked them off into various colors instead of a smooth blend.  This is meant to be a fun and colorful piece and highly stylized.  Watch her piece come to life!
